We do not allow visitors to our home. We do not have a un attached kennel. We have a small in home breeding program where all our puppies are raised in our home with our family. There have been many breeders killed in their homes, killed in their kennels, puppies and adults stolen after given a tour to dishonest people.
Unfortunately we no longer live in a world where people can just come on over and play with parents and puppies. Its sad but its true and our family and dogs safety comes over a sale always.
We will not risk parvo or any other parasites that can put our dogs at risk being tracked into our home. No sale is worth the risk to our fur family members. We are well aware of the high risk for people being scammed. We do our very best to earn your trust. We will send pictures and video. We will send a picture of the puppy you are interested in with a piece of paper with your name and date on it. You are welcome to read our reviews, ask for references, and even ask for a vet reference. No scammer will offer this. We send bi weekly pictures and or video of your puppy. We will go above and beyond to make you feel safe and comfortable working with us. But we will not risk harm to ourselves, our children, and our fur babies for any sale what so ever.
We realize that some people will not purchase a puppy unless they have seen the puppy in person and that's ok. If that is what you want then by all means stick to that. But then we are not the breeder for you. And thats ok for us to.
We see other breeders tell people if a breeder wont let them come to their home to see a puppy in person than they are not reputable. I find that its those breeders that are not very reputable as reputable breeders should be supportive of other breeders as we are. You will find that we are very reputable and honest. We just have a difference in opinion on how we run our program.
All of our clients have met us in a safe public place to pick up their puppies or have had them transported.
We do not bring our puppies and dogs out and off the property to do "meets". This also poses a risk of exposure to anything to them and a danger of getting hurt if they get scared and run. Contrary to what people think this will not show you "if the dog or puppy is right for you, or will fit in with you, kids, and other dogs or cats". The dog will likely be scared or timid and not its usual self as now its seeing new things like lots of car traffic and new people, lots of people in public spaces. We do not leash train as we live out in the middle of now where so we dont take walks and when we go to the vet we go in a double stroller. They do not touch the vet floors or allow people to pet them. Again this is to protect them from any exposure to parasites, viruses, etc.
As always if you have any questions or concerns we would be happy to speak with you. Honesty is the very best policy and that is our mantra and we stick by it.
